DIY Home Facial

In the midst of a busy life it is important to set aside some time for yourself... the Forever Young skincare range was developed to pamper and treat your Mind, Body and Spirit to the finest skincare products nature has to offer.
There’s nothing better than treating yourself to a professional facial, but they can be expensive. To maintain your healthy skin between professional treatments or to do them yourself, try this basic at-home facial once a week. This basic facial works on oily, dry and combination skin but be aware that initially after having a facial any blemishes that were present beneath the skins surface may be brought to the surface.
We believe to keep everything simple so the Forever Young Naturally range has everything you’ll need to pamper yourself in the Essential Spa Pack
There are 5 simple basic steps to a DIY facial treatment:
Cleanse
Cleanse your face with warm water to loosen dirt and clogged pores. Use a small amount of the Forever Young milk cleanser or foaming facial cleanser to cleanse face and neck, then rinse with cool or lukewarm water.
Exfoliate
Using your fingers, very gently rub a small amount of the Forever Young facial scrub in a circular motion on your face. Concentrate on the areas around your nose and forehead or if you have combo skin, work harder on the areas that tend to be ‘greasy.’ Rinse your face well since exfoliating scrubs tend to be drying.
Steam
Fill your sink with warm water and dip washcloth in and press to your face. Repeat 2-3 times.
Mask
A facial mask removes deeply embedded dirt from the pores of the skin. This cannot be achieved thoroughly with cleansing alone. Trapped dirt that blocks skin pores often leads to acne breakouts and skin rashes. Masks containing clay help to remove excess oil effectively from the skin. Masks also help remove dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. Using a mask regularly is an essential procedure for healthy and glowing skin
To apply the mask use a good amount of mask to all areas of your face, neck and chest, but avoid the eyes. While the mask dries (approx 10-20mins) take this opportunity to lie back into a warm bubble bath or just put your feet up and place cucumber slices or cold tea bags on your eyes and listen to your favourite music and RELAX.
To remove the mask use a warm washer and gently wipe off the majority of the mask. Then apply the FYN toner to remove any remaining mask.
Moisturise
Very gently dab very small amounts of the Hydrating Eye Crème around the eye and then apply the hydrating moisturiser to face and neck to complete your home facial.
